Slim Chickens had an opportunity to extend their brand beyond the restaurant—bringing their in-house sauces to retail shelves.
The challenge was to take an established, recognizable brand and translate it into a **consumer packaged product** that could compete in a crowded retail environment while still feeling authentic to the original experience.
Our role focused on developing packaging that bridges that gap.
We worked with Slim Chickens’ existing brand identity and applied it to a new format—creating a packaging system that feels consistent with the brand, while also standing out on shelf. Every element was considered, from layout and hierarchy to color, typography, and product visibility, ensuring the design communicates clearly and effectively to retail customers.
Beyond aesthetics, the packaging needed to function within a **retail context**—where quick recognition, clarity, and differentiation are critical to purchase decisions. The goal was to create a product that not only looks appealing, but performs in a competitive environment alongside established CPG brands.
